Gosh, I'm not even sure where to begin on this one. Lots of things have happened since I last posted. The most important thing is that we passed our inspection with the health department and were given the ok to open to the public. We've been working really hard to get 22 campsites ready and most of them are there or very close.
We decided to list our campground on HipCamp.com because it's a site we're already familiar with and many people already search hipcamp, so we don't have to do the advertising. If you've never heard of it, it's like airbnb for campers. So, 2 days ago I very hesitantly hit "publish" on our hipcamp website and within hours we got our first booking. Within 18 hours we had 3 bookings for cabins. As of yesterday we had our first campers walking around and it was funny how nervous we were that they might not like it.
We have 3 groups booked for Memorial Day weekend and I hope that number grows before it arrives, but still, it's pretty exciting and nerve wracking. We're coming up on owning the camp for one year in June and it seems like so much has happened but it's hard to remember it all.
I hope these links take you to our website. If not, go to HipCamp.com and search Natural Bridge Station, VA and you'll find our listings. We had to list cabins, tent sites, RV sites, etc. as different listings since they're different prices. We're still editing these sites but we wanted to get things up and running before Memorial Day.
I hope we get to see some of you this summer.
Wow! How so very exciting!! I can't wait to get our group up for a visit!! Excellent work!!
