I realize I haven't blogged for awhile but the progress we've been making probably isn't all that interesting to others, though to us it is. It would be like an acquaintance of yours telling you every detail about their vacation.
Instead I want to show you some pictures of beautiful mushrooms we've been seeing on our walks through the woods. I love this time of year when the fungus is happy and pops up to say hello everywhere. I have no idea what the names are of these mushrooms, and which, if any, are edible. I just like seeing them. This Sunday some friends will mushroom hunt with us and they'll be able to tell us what many of them are, or they'll look them up and tell us.
The mosses are also beautiful.
I found this fungus-looking-thing growing in the outhouse. I'm certain it's not edible to humans, but it appears to be great eating to rodents. A very artistic rodent.
That is a very difficult to find variety too 🤪
